The accommodation was absolutely beautiful with stunning architecture and furnishings that will make you feel like you're living in a 17th-century villa. The location is perfect for exploring everything in and around Galle Fort, including the variety of restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was outstanding. The pool and garden area are lovely, ideal for a relaxing afternoon in a tropical setting.
There was occasional noise from the surrounding schools and neighboring hotel terrace, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

This hidden gem is perfect for those looking for a quiet getaway. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with attention to every detail. The lush bedding provided a comfortable night's sleep. The pool area is a tranquil oasis, complete with comfortable loungers to relax and unwind. The attentive staff go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible stay, with delicious breakfasts cooked to your preference and 24-hour service. The icing on the cake? The welcome ice pops were a refreshing treat after a long journey.
The bathroom configuration in one of the rooms was a little inconvenient, with access only via the balcony and exposed to bugs. However, this is to be expected in an old colonial house.

The hotel we stayed in was a charming colonial-style house turned into a boutique hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was top-notch, with a wide variety of options available. We also enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful decor throughout the hotel.
The mosquitoes were quite numerous and made our stay a bit uncomfortable at times. the bathroom was not connected to the room and required us to go outside onto the balcony to access it.

I had the most amazing stay at this beautifully restored colonial villa in Galle Fort. From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail and the warm hospitality of Henry and his team made me feel right at home. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the whole place exuded peace and tranquility. I especially loved the delicious breakfasts and evening meals, which were beautifully presented. The location of the villa couldn't be better, right in the heart of Galle Fort. It truly was a home away from home experience.
Nothing bad to say. 😊

This hotel is an amazing and exclusive venue filled with luxury and unique amenities. The service provided by the friendly and accommodating staff was exceptional. The outdoor swimming pool in the garden area with comfortable sun loungers was perfect for relaxing. The shallow end is great for younger children. The restaurant had an excellent in-room breakfast, private facilities, and even special diet menus available.
While this hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every way, there was one minor issue we encountered during our stay. The packed lunches provided were not as good as we had hoped they would be.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel surrounded by the walls of the fortress. Best aspects were the location, being close to everything in the Fort area; the cleanliness, with the entire hotel nicely decorated and clean rooms; the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating; and the breakfast, which was always excellent. We also enjoyed the small pool in the garden and the fact that we were close to all the other shopping streets in the Fort.
Worst aspects? Was all great.
